Our Mission Statement
At Worthing Musical Theatre Company , our mission is to enrich lives and strengthen communities through the power of musical theatre.
As a registered charity and proud member of the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA), we are dedicated to promoting the highest standards of performance, accessibility, and inclusivity in the arts. We believe in the transformative magic of musical theatre to inspire, educate, and entertain people of all ages and backgrounds.

Our charity aims to provide opportunities for performers, directors and musicians to hone their skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Through engaging productions, we bring the joy and cultural richness of musical theatre to the widest possible audience, fostering creativity and encouraging community involvement.
As a NODA member, we uphold the values of excellence in amateur theatre and are committed to offering professional-quality performances that challenge, entertain, and inspire. We work closely with local schools and organisations, to ensure that everyone has the chance to experience the thrill of live theatre.

We’re Excited to Announce Our Next Production: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!
Following the incredible success of our recent production of Annie, we are thrilled to unveil our next magical musical – Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! The response to Annie was truly heartwarming, with sold-out performances, standing ovations, and wonderful community support that reminded us all why we love bringing theatre to life.
The dedication, energy, and talent of everyone involved made it a standout moment in WMTC’s history.

Now, we’re inviting you to step into a world of pure imagination! Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a colourful, fun-filled stage adaptation of Roald Dahl’s timeless classic, full of quirky characters, toe-tapping music, and plenty of surprises. With Willy Wonka at the helm, and golden tickets in hand, audiences will be swept away into a fantastical world where dreams (and candy) come true.

Rehearsals are already well underway, and excitement is building behind the scenes as our cast and crew work hard to bring this enchanting story to the stage. We can't wait to share the magic, mischief, and chocolatey charm with you all very soon.
